Economics
Since that realignment to what we now know as the Faculty of Business and Economics in 1925, the study of Economics has been both a solid foundation for Commerce students, as well as a strong research focal point for the Faculty over 100 years.
Economics has been taught in some way since the University’s foundation in 1855, 70 years before the Faculty of Commerce, was created.
This legacy of excellence spans across generations and ideas, from founding Dean Douglas Copland, to the influential Joseph Isaac and Max Corden, to current leaders in the economic world, Danielle Wood and Luci Ellis.
