Inclusive Teaching and Learning
Inclusive teaching considers the diversity of students’ needs, backgrounds and capabilities when designing and delivering subjects. It is based on the belief that all students, without exception, should be able to access, participate, and succeed at the University. Inclusive teaching aims to maximise learning for the widest range of characteristics present within the student cohort, and views these differences as a benefit rather than a problem. It is widely accepted that when educators take such an approach, all students benefit.
