Ms. Lisa Batten

Lisa joins the WCLA professional team four days per week. She currently assists with the coordination of the Business & Economics Research Network, FBE Teaching Grants and FBE Deans Awards. Lisa has over ten years research management experience in the higher education sector and has previously worked as a Senior Grants Officer at the University Melbourne. She is currently completing her PhD in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. Her research interests include student equity in higher education, with a particular focus on students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. She has also previously worked as a tutor in the disciplines of Politics and International Relations at the Australian National University as part of the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS).
