FBE/MBSL Deans’ Diversity and Inclusion Excellence Awards

The FBE/MBSL Deans’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Excellence Awards celebrate individuals and groups across the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) and Melbourne Business School Limited (MBSL) who demonstrate outstanding commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in their work and community.

These awards recognise and showcase the Faculty’s shared commitment to promoting inclusive excellence, advancing the values of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), and reaffirming our joint EQUIS and AACSB accreditations. Through these awards, we aim to build awareness of the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion as a driver of innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility.

Awards are presented in three categories:

  • Thought Leadership and Intellectual Contribution – recognising research or thought leadership that advances understanding and practice of diversity and inclusion.
  • Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – celebrating initiatives or activities that foster an inclusive culture within the Faculty or broader community.
  • Inclusive Teaching – honouring educators who integrate inclusive principles into their teaching, creating equitable and engaging learning environments.

Together, these awards shine a spotlight on those who are shaping a more inclusive future for our Faculty, University, and society.
