Evidencing Teaching Excellence
(2 x 2 hour on-campus workshops)
Evidencing the impact of your teaching upon the student experience and their learning is key when applying for confirmation, promotion, teaching awards, fellowships, or grants. This story is unique to each academic as it may take many forms and could draw on a variety of data. With that in mind, this professional develop series offers two sessions. The first will assist academics to reflect upon their personal and professional beliefs around teaching while the second session will consider ways in which their teaching impact can be evidenced. Participants will have the opportunity to draw on their own experiences in relation to University expectations such as those defined by The Advancing Students and Education Strategy: 2023 – 2030 and A Framework for Educational Excellence. Potential sources for collecting evidence and the support available to FBE academics will also be discussed.
