Online Subject Guide: Introduction Session

FBE Online Subject Guide
Invitation to participate in Semester 2, 2023

Once again, the Online Subject Guide (OSG) will be made available to all FBE academics as they begin preparing for Semester 2 teaching.

By using the OSG, academics are assured their guides align with Faculty expectations. The OSG does this by ‘pulling’ key information from the Handbook such as a subject’s overview, learning outcomes, and assessment summary. In addition, the OSG template displays current policy and information pertaining to University services.

If you are interested, please email the Williams Centre for Learning Advancement FBE-WCLA@unimelb.edu.au and include the name of your subject(s) within your message.  You will then receive a reply with login and password details.

Online Subject Guide - Introduction Session

The WCLA will be providing an introduction session for all FBE academics who are interested in receiving further information, assistance or support in the creation of OSG's.

Facilitator: Miriam Edwards is an Educational Designer at the Williams Centre for Learning Advancement. She is also a doctoral candidate at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education. Miriam has extensive experience in higher education which includes teaching, curriculum renewal and subject design. Her research interests are in designing online courses which are both innovative and accessible to students with diverse needs.
