Graduate Research Programs in Business and Economics

As a graduate researcher in our doctoral program, you are embarking on an exciting journey focused on producing impactful, world-leading research.

Research Internships

During your PhD, you will have the opportunity to undertake a Research Internship.

These paid opportunities allow students to strengthen transferable skills and expand professional networks, while engaging in research and development (R&D) activities with an external organisation. Internships are typically 3-6 months and can be undertaken on-site at a host organisation (in Australia or overseas) or online. Search for internships via APR.Intern or you can source one through either your own industry connections or your supervisors' professional networks.

Students completing a five-year doctoral program will be encouraged to explore future internships opportunities and develop professional networks during the Master of Commerce, so that you can pursue a research internship when progressing to the PhD.
