Exam Viewing FAQ

  • What is an exam viewing appointment?

Exam viewing appointments are an opportunity for you to view your exam paper and the marks you have received for each question. You can not request a remarking of your paper or negotiate for additional marks. It is an opportunity for feedback only.

  • What if my subject is not listed?

Please contact your subject coordinator directly

  • The appointments listed are for in person, can I have an online appointment instead?

No, the appointment types listed are all that are available.

  • I have a special exam, can I view my previous exam?

No, students  who have a special exam are not permitted to view any previous exam attempts.

  • Can I book more than one appointment for my subject as I believe I will need more than the allocated time?

No, appointments are for all students and taking more than one appointment takes away the opportunity for another student to attend. If you are found to have booked more than one appointment for the same subject, any additional appointments will be cancelled. The earliest booking will remain.

  • What if I don’t agree with the exam mark or believe there has been an error?

You must first attend an exam viewing appointment. If you believe there is still an error, you must contact the Head of Department with your concerns.

Information on how to seek a review of you mark can be found here: Seeking a Review

Please  note  that any exam that has a fail mark is marked by two separate academics.
