Profile

I am a non-market strategy scholar. My research focuses on non-market strategy, sustainability, international business, and organization theory.

In the area of sustainability, I explore how firms strategically respond to a variety of institutional pressures regarding sustainability efforts, such as climate policy, green finance campaign, green credit policy, and physical climate change exposure. I am also interested in the effects of the natural environment or environmental regulations on labor markets and human capital outcomes.

Current Projects

My current focus is on strategic human capital.

I explore the factors that drive the allocation of human capital both within and across organizations, and how organizations adjust human capital investment in response to external shocks. We want to understand how organizations adjust their human capital investment strategy in response to institutional changes and how such shifts in workforce composition affect organizations’ capabilities and performance.

I am also doing research on geopolitical risks to understand how MNEs respond to geopolitical risks through different sets of strategies.
