There is a preliminary - short pitch competition within the University - to choose the University of Melbourne team that will then compete against the other Victorian universities in the Victorian Universities SCM Case Competition.
The University of Melbourne Group Selection Task/Question:
Form yourselves into a group of four students from within the University of Melbourne.
In a brief 5 minute video, describe 1-2 ways in which AI could deliver the greatest food-waste reduction impact for food growing and manufacturing organisations in Australia.
Video Pitch:
Length: 5 minutes and 2 slides maximum
Format: Ensure you provide a file format that is readily accessible with the Microsoft 365 suite, or if a link, ensure access is available.
Note: Not all team members need to present, given the short time frame of the video.
Selection Criteria:
Impact (33%), practicality (33%), and presentation clarity (33%) of proposed ideas to improve circular economy initiatives.
