Hari Janakiraman leads Industry & Innovation in Transaction Banking at ANZ, driving strategic innovation across trade and payments. With deep expertise in cross-border trade, Hari has been instrumental in advocating for Australia’s trade digitisation agenda, including regulatory reform efforts like MLETR and the Single Window initiative. He chairs The International Chamber of Commerce’s Australian Banking Committee and contributes to government-led trade facilitation working groups. Internationally, Hari serves as Co-Chair of the ICC’s Global Banking Commission and has previously co-led the ICC’s Trade Digitisation Working Group. He is a leading voice in advancing trade facilitation across banking and finance through active industry engagement. Hari is a regular speaker and contributor to industry forums and national consultations, where he advocates for policy, technology, and innovation to strengthen global trade.
