Susan Mizrahi is a senior sustainability strategist with over 25 years’ global experience working on international, business sustainability and human rights issues. She was one of Australia’s first Chief Sustainability Officers.
An Honorary Fellow at Melbourne Climate Futures (University of Melbourne) and Non-Executive Director at UN Global Compact Network Australia, Susan is committed to driving transformational social and environmental change. Formerly Chief Sustainability Officer at one of Australia’s most trusted and oldest brands, Australia Post (2015-23), her experience spans the private, government, academic, and not-for-profit sectors.
Susan spent her earlier career working on human rights issues across Asia. She led advocacy campaigns for World Vision Australia that focused on human trafficking and child labor (‘modern slavery’), foreign aid, and child and maternal health. She has also worked in the United States and Europe, where she led global campaigns on economic development, and political and religious freedom relating to the China-Tibet issue.
Susan has been repeatedly named as a sustainability thought leader and featured in the Sustainability Top 100 lists globally (BizClick). Her diverse subject matter expertise includes sustainability frameworks and theories; supply chain sustainability; modern slavery and labor rights; ESG and climate risk; diversity and inclusion; and the China-Tibet issue.
A Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Susan holds a Master of International Relations & Asian Politics and a Master of Management.
