Breadth
Finance as Breadth
If you're studying a Bachelor of Arts, Design, Environments, Fine Arts, Music or Science, you can still dip into commerce. Follow a passion, challenge yourself, or enhance your employability with a commerce Breadth subject.
Breadth for BCom students
As a Bachelor of Commerce student, you will take between four and six subjects chosen from outside the Faculty of Business and Economics as part of your degree. You can also follow a breadth track
Street Finance
Street Finance is an innovative third-year subject where students visit secondary schools across Melbourne to deliver engaging finance lessons tailored to young audiences.
Through this program, students not only deepen their understanding of key financial concepts, such as budgeting and mobile phone contracts, but also enhance their communication skills. With topics evolving each year, Street Finance offers participants a unique opportunity to apply their technical knowledge while making a meaningful impact by providing financial education to students who may have limited exposure to the finance profession.
