Visa Information

As a presenter and discussant invited to speak at this public event, The University of Melbourne strongly recommend that you apply for the Temporary Activity visa (subclass 408) - Other Social and Cultural Activity (Invited Participant) stream.  This will ensure you enter Australia on a visa that is appropriate for the activities you have been invited to undertake.  Further information about this visa is available on the Department of Home Affairs website. Please take note of visa processing times and ensure you allow enough time for your visa to be processed ahead of your scheduled departure for Australia.  If you require any further advice about your visa options, The University of Melbourne recommends contacting a registered migration agent or your local Australian consulate, as we are unable to provide any additional visa advice beyond what has already been provided.
