Connecting expertise. Advancing responsible research. Shaping the future of AI.
Artificial intelligence has already transformed business, economies and society. Understanding where this can take us has never been more important.
The Faculty of Business and Economics has brought together the Faculty’s AI-related research and expertise under one overarching platform. It connects expertise across the Faculty, amplifies research and creates new opportunities for collaboration with industry, government and the wider research community.
The Faculty aims to establish its position as a leader in responsible AI research and innovation, contributing rigorous academic insight to the questions shaping the future of business, economics and society.
Our priorities
The Faculty will focus on three key priorities:
Connect and amplify research
Raise the profile of AI-related research and innovation across the Faculty, increasing the visibility and impact of individual initiatives.
Build meaningful partnerships
Provide a gateway for industry, government and research organisations to engage with the Faculty, exchange knowledge and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Advance responsible AI
Strengthen the Faculty’s contribution to understanding and addressing the governance, ethical and societal implications of AI, alongside its opportunities for innovation and growth.
With so much noise around Artificial Intelligence, I wanted to create a space that allows us to nurture a robust and impartial conversation around AI.
