How Do We Advance Governance and Accountability in a Complex World?
Effective governance sits at the heart of organisational integrity, resilience, and legitimacy. As regulatory environments grow more complex and societal expectations of business continue to rise, the quality of governance — in boardrooms, markets, and institutions — has never mattered more.
GRAG brings together scholars working across corporate governance, board oversight, executive incentives, regulation, ESG and sustainability, stakeholder accountability, and institutional monitoring. Drawing on diverse perspectives and methodologies, the group advances rigorous inquiry into the mechanisms that make organisations more transparent, responsible, and resilient — and integrates these insights into teaching. We are united by a commitment to research and education that is both analytically rigorous and grounded in governance practice.
We engage closely with industry and policy communities to ensure our work speaks to real governance challenges. Through collaborative research, executive education, and advisory relationships, GRAG builds partnerships that bridge scholarship and practice — generating insights that matter beyond the academy.
