Eduard Inozemtsev joined the University of Melbourne in 2023 after receiving a Ph.D. in Finance from The Ohio State University. Before his doctoral studies, Eduard obtained an M.A. in Economics from the New Economic School and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
Eduard’s research focuses primarily on financial intermediation with a particular interest in corporate debt markets. His current research projects investigate the role of asset management firms in the cost and stability of nonbank lending. His recent work has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
