Dear students,
We are now in the final week of teaching, and I trust you are using your remaining time in lectures and tutorials as effectively as possible. The examination preparation and study you put in over the coming weeks will set you up well to round out the semester on a high note.
There are many resources and services available to help you succeed, including advice for preparing for different kinds of exams, Stop 1, and exam timetables and rules. Please use these to your advantage.
The study and examination period can be a stressful time, and it is important to also look after your body and your mind. Your mental health is vital for personal and academic success and FBE has a dedicated student wellbeing service available to all students. It is an excellent resource, and I implore you to use it, not just in the examination period, but any time throughout the year. The FBE Student Wellbeing team are there to support you through connection, referrals, and focused programs. You can contact them confidentially to book an appointment or visit them at 99 Barry Street (Building 326).
You can also turn to the University’s Health Services, Counselling and Psychological Services, or the Student Union’s Welfare Department for support.
The first 2025 intake for Virtual Industry Projects is open until 1 June and offers an immersive, practical program you can complete from anywhere in the world during the winter break.
Best of luck with your exams. Stay safe during the winter break and I look forward to seeing you back on campus for the start of next semester.
All the best,
Professor Paul Kofman
Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics
