About AFRIC 3
The Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Insurance Congress (AFRIC) is designed to be a premier Actuarial Science academic conference, rotationally hosted across Africa. It brings together academics and practitioners with research interests across all speciality areas of actuarial science, risk management and finance. It also provides a platform for accessing and networking with global experts.
The inaugural edition of AFRIC was held in Victoria Falls from the 23 to 28 of July 2023. The second edition was hosted at Muthu Keekorok Lodge in Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya from 8 to 13 June 2025.
The third edition will be held at the Grand Mogador Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, from 31 May to 3 June 2027.
Abstract Submissions
Abstract submissions are welcome from all core areas of actuarial science, finance, risk management and emerging areas including artificial intelligence.

Conference Location
The conference will take place at Grand Palais des Congres Agdal, Marrakech, Tourist Zone Agda, 40000, Marrakech, Morocco
Accommodation will be available for conference delegates at the adjoining Grand Mogador Agdal Hotel. A discounted room and breakfast rate has been neogiated as follows:
- Single Room (1 person occupancy) 890MAD per night
- Double Room (2 people occupancy) 990MAD per night
- Tourist tax 28.60MAD per person per night
