Professor Vijayta Doshi

Vijayta Doshi is Professor of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management and Dean (Programs) at Indian Institute of Management Udaipur. She earned her doctorate from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and has been a visiting scholar at Lund University and Royal Roads University, Canada. She adopts critical methodologies to examine how socio-cultural structures related to gender and diversity shape and are shaped by entrepreneurial, leadership, and organizational experiences, especially in Global South contexts. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Management Studies. She is the incoming Associate Editor at Business & Society and co-editor of provocation essays at Management Learning. She also edited the book Postcolonial Feminism in Management and Organization Studies: Critical Perspectives from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
