About the Student Reference Group
The FBE Student Reference Group is a new major student initiative supported by the FBE Student Belonging team. Participants will have the autonomy to identify and design solutions to student challenges and influence what uni life could look like.

Who can apply
Whether you’re in your first semester or your final year of study, you are encouraged to apply. To apply, you must be
- An FBE student (BCom/MBS coursework)
- Enrolled in the BCom or MBS coursework degree in Semesters 1 and 2 in 2025
- Able to commit to the program duration and requirements
Requirements and duration
The Student Reference Group will require a commitment of at least 10 hours of active participation over one academic year, in Semesters 1 and 2, 2025.
- Attend one Information Session on campus (details below)
- Participate in any training the group identifies is needed
- Hold at least six meetings over the academic year
- Provide opportunities for students to provide feedback i.e., scheduled meetings
