The Future Leaders Forum is an annual event where 150 of our highest achievers in the Faculty of Business and Economics hear from high profile business leaders.
About the Future Leaders Forum
The Future Leaders Forum offers practical perspectives on leadership, drawing on the experiences of leaders from a variety of fields. A keynote address is followed by an online networking session, where you can discuss leadership and other key issues in small groups.
In 2021, the theme will be ‘Leadership in times of change’. Responding to the unprecedented times we are living in, our outstanding group of speakers will be sharing their insights on how the pandemic has redefined leadership. Specifically, how leaders have innovated, embraced uncertainty and championed sustainable leadership.
How do I take part?
Participation in the Future Leaders Forum is by invitation only. The Forum is an exclusive event targeted at students who have demonstrated academic excellence and/or achievement in leadership. These include Dean's Honours List students, Chancellor's Scholars (Copland Program), Abernethy Scholars, student club and society leaders, and students identified for their demonstrated leadership skills and contributions to the community.
To be eligible, students must:
- be a Bachelor of Commerce or Melbourne Business School student at the University of Melbourne
- be in their penultimate or final year of their degree
- have an average mark of 75 or above
- be available for the duration of the forum
Invitations to the 2021 Future Leaders Forum will be emailed to eligible students in Week 4 of Semester 2, 2021.
