Are you interested in undergraduate studies in Business and want to test your skills against the world's top high-school students?
The Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne is excited to launch our Global Online Case Competition. During the competition, you’ll take a Business Masterclass and have the opportunity to meet the academic and industry experts who teach in the Faculty. Plus, winners get top prizes of up to AUD $3000.
The competition is for teams of 3 to 5 students who are in their final two years of high school, from the same high school. Keep reading to find out how to enter.
Please note: This competition is not open to students studying in high schools based in China, India, or Vietnam.
How does it work?
The Case Competition comprises of three key stages:
-
Written proposal
The first stage involves all registered teams submitting a written proposal to the Case Question. This should be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation, up to 10 slides maximum. The proposals will be evaluated, and a shortlist of the top teams will move to stage 2.
-
Semi final presentations
The second stage is the Semi Final, where the shortlisted teams are invited to compete by presenting their proposal online to a panel of expert judges from the Faculty of Business and Economics.
-
Final presentations
Teams that progress to the final stage of the competition will be invited to attend our online Grand Final event to present their submissions to a panel of judges comprised of University of Melbourne academic staff.
