Executive-in-Residence
The Executive in Residence program at the Centre for Accounting and Industry Partnerships provides a great opportunity to bridge teaching, research and industry experience for mutual advantage.Des Pearson former Victorian Auditor-General
The Executive in Residence Program hosts distinguished business leaders from a wide range of fields and backgrounds for short-term residencies within the Department of Accounting.
These senior business leaders bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to both students and staff. They demonstrate to students what it means and what it takes to be a successful professional in a complex business organisation, meet with staff to give a top manager's view of the business world that, in turn, enhances both teaching and research in diverse ways.
Since 2010 our executives have participated in 111 lectures, presented 21 seminars, held 167 meetings and have reached over 15,000 students. Events hosted by our executives can be found on the events page.
Executives in Residence maintain a unique long-term relationship with the Department as Honorary Fellows.
The Centre is proud to host the Executive in Residence Program and we invite you to contact us to learn more about becoming involved in this valuable program.
