Kevin Stevenson has a distinguished accounting career and held significant positions related to accounting standards and accounting research activities in Australia and internationally. He was one the first of our Centre Fellows to become an Executive-in-Residence.
Kevin has been appointed the Chairman and CEO of the AASB until 30 June 2014. In view of his chairmanship of the AASB, he a member of the Financial Reporting Council and the Financial Reporting Standards Board, NZ.
Kevin was a Senior Partner, Melbourne, Global Capital Markets Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers (2005 to 2009), has also served as the Director of Technical Activities, International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), London UK. (2002-2005) and as Chairman of the International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC) of the IASB. (2002-2005).
