AWE: The Accounting Workshop on Experiments

Accounting Workshop on Experiments 2018

The Department of Accounting at the University of Melbourne is pleased to host a one day workshop focused on Experimental Research in Accounting.

The purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum and opportunity for accounting researchers who conduct experiments to present work and share ideas, to inspire and develop researchers in this field and to grow the contribution and standing of experiments across all topical accounting areas (financial, managerial, audit, accounting information systems).

The program will include presentations from both experienced researchers  and from developing researchers and research students.  The workshop aims to facilitate an exchange of ideas and substantive discussions to both develop the work being presented and to advance experimental research in accounting more broadly.

Paper submissions will be required shortly before the workshop to enable electronic distribution to participants.  Papers will not be subject to formal review. To support the developmental component of the workshop, some presentations may be admitted to the program without a paper (particularly for student work-in-progress).

Further details regarding the program will be provided to registered participants prior to the workshop. Please direct any questions regarding AWE to Professor Michael Davern and include AWE as the subject title.

Registration is essential and numbers are limited.  Registration will formally close by  2 June 2017 at latest or when maximum numbers are reached.
