Student-Nominated Teaching Award
Each year, the Commerce Students Society (CSS) organise a student-nominated teaching award to recognise teacher excellence. The students gather data based on a survey tool whereby they nominate lecturers and rate them across five criteria. They are also expected to provide comments to justify their nominations.
I am pleased to announce that after a one-year long campaign, Noel Boys, from the Department of Accounting was awarded this prize this year on Friday evening at the AGM of the CSS. The students also provided Noel with their feedback along the criteria to justify their nomination and selection!
Noel received a framed certificate and prize money in recognition of his teaching excellence. Photos of the event are available on Twitter. See @williams_centre
Please join me in congratulating Noel on this award.
