There has been an increase in the use of simulations in business education to replicate the competitive business environment. Commercial providers offer a range of products allowing students to practice ‘real-world’ situations. But how do academics make best use of these? This session showcases FBE subjects that apply simulations. Academics share their stories providing first-hand insights into their experiences in using these diverse tools in their teaching.

In this session you will hear from Dr Daejeong Choi, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing.  Daejeong will share his experience of using simulations to teach postgraduate students. He will share examples of simulations students complete over various timeframes; from a short, one seminar session to another embedded throughout the semester.
