Learning through Business Games
Engagement in the Classroom Masterclass Series
Room 6.30, Level 6, 111 Barry StreetMap
Using games in your class depends on the purpose, the time allotment and the tools required to reflect your intended learning. Games are renowned as gateways to enhance motivation in the learning environment and can be manipulated to even assess learning outcomes. Educators typically have great ideas for simple games and yet lack the know-how to quickly develop a solution that will work. This workshop will use a template to help you decide the type of game you want that can be used to test and challenge knowledge.
- Decide on the type of game you need for your subject
- Determine the steps you need to choose and/or create a game
- Reuse existing games to meet your own subject goals
