Designing Effective Educational Videos for Business (Self-paced)
This self-paced workshop explores how to design effective videos for use in business education. It includes examples of videos used for various educational purposes across the disciplines of FBE.
Participants will have an opportunity to begin designing a video for their own teaching and to practice using desktop video creation software (Echo360 Universal Capture and Zoom). Important information relating to University resources will be also be provided.
Participants have the opportunity to complete this professional development at their convenience through membership in a Canvas community site during the specified dates.
On completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate a range of educational video formats for use in business education
- Design a video to use in their own teaching context
- Use video equipment to record a short video
