Inclusive teaching practice has been a growing area of research which encompasses a range of techniques and approaches. Some of these you may have heard of, but perhaps would like to learn more, or find out how to apply them specifically to your subject area and teaching context.

University enrollment trends suggest student diversity will continue to rise, meaning academics are more likely to encounter students from a broad spectrum of backgrounds. With that in mind, this workshop offers participants the opportunity to reflect upon their teaching in terms of inclusive practice. Strategies for fostering a sense of community among students and inclusive teaching frameworks such as Universal Design for Learning will be discussed.
