Facilitating Synchronous Discussions with Alternative Chat Tools

Driving in-class conversations can be challenging. In recent semesters we’ve seen online and blended-synchronous delivery add to the complexity. During this session, we’ll hear from two FBE academics who have effectively used educational technology to address this need.  Laura will speak about her experience in using Flux and Minsoo will share his insights regarding the use of the Zoom chat in conjunction with live stream lecturing (ECHO360). This is an informal session in which participants will hear from the presenters while also having the opportunity to reflect upon their own teaching needs and discuss further.
