Case method teaching can effectively enhance student engagement in the classroom and allow them to apply theory to contemporary business problems in any discipline of business. Effective case teaching stimulates debate and enables students to be involved in the co-creation of their learning experience.  It also allows students to develop crucial employability skills needed for career development.

This workshop will be delivered in a blended synchronous format.

On completion of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the characteristics of effective case-based teaching
  • Identify the elements of preparation required for effective case-based teaching
  • Develop effective strategies to lead classroom debate and stimulate and track engagement
  • Develop mechanisms to assess in-class participation
