Zhen Shi

With a PhD in Finance from Tilburg University, the Netherlands, I currently hold the position of Senior Lecturer and Program Director of the Graduate Certificate in Business within the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne. I am honoured to have received recognition for my teaching, including the University of Melbourne Teaching Excellence Award – Edward Brown Award for Teaching Excellence in 2023, the Deans Award for Excellence in Teaching (Levels A/B Category) in 2021, and the Deans Diversity & Inclusion Excellence Award (Promoting D&I Category) in 2022. My research interests lie in private equity, pension funds, and portfolio choice.
