Huijun (Liz) Wang joined the Department of Finance as an Associate Professor in 2019.  Her research interests include Empirical Asset Pricing, Investment and Behavioural Finance.  Prior to joining the University of Melbourne, Huijun held the position of Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Delaware from 2013-2019.  Her forthcoming publication, Lottery-Related Anomalies: The Role of Reference-Dependent Preferences, has won first prize in the Asia-Pacific Chicago Quantitative Alliance conference Academic Competition and her 2017 publication, Reference-Dependent Preferences and the Risk-Return Trade-off, won third place in the Chicago Quantitative Alliance conference Academic Competition.
