Dr  André Gygax

André Gygax is a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance at the University of Melbourne. He is also a Fellow at the Centre of Business Analytics at Melbourne Business School and a Research Associate at the Centre for Energy-Efficient Telecommunications (CEET). His research and teaching focus on the life cycle and sustainability of industries, firms, technologies and networks. He has been a visiting research scholar at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business (Austria), WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management (Germany), the University of Colorado (U.S.A.), the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and Hochschule Lucerne (Switzerland). He has extensive industry experience (e.g., Swiss Bank Corporation, The World Trade Center, Micrel) and ongoing industry research collaborations with companies such as Nokia (Alcatel-Lucent, Bell Labs) and China Mobile.
