Biography

Matt joined the Department of Accounting in 2009, after previously working with Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, and as a sessional staff member at UniSA and Flinders University in South Australia.

Matt has taught across a number of different areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels focusing on Introductory Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Financial Accounting and e-Commerce. Matt has been involved in a number of initiatives around online accounting education and takes a leading role within the department to enhance the online offerings. Matt is currently teaching into the Postgraduate subject ACCT90030 Information Process and Controls, and is responsible for the development of the new undergraduate subject ACCT20007 Accounting Information: Risks and Controls (AIRCon), has introduced innovations such getting students use SAP and business simulations to provide a expermental learning experience.
