Thesis: Exploring the Intersection of Bodies and Practices in the Construction, Enactment, and Embodiment of Subversive Consumer Identity Performances

Rohan's research explores the interplay between bodies and performances within consumer research, focusing on how bodies sit at the intersection of identity, aesthetics, status, and consumption. His PhD research examines how drag performers create and embody fantastical performed selves, and how they negotiate having multiple embodied selves across various social and consumption domains. Along with research, Rohan teaches across multiple subject areas, with a special emphasis on consumer behaviour, cross-cultural marketing, and marketing and media communictations.
