Christopher Stewart

Department of Accounting


Chris commenced the PhD program in the Department of Accounting in 2016. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Laurentian University (Canada), a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University (Canada), and a Master of Commerce (Accounting) degree from the University of Melbourne.

His current research examines the impact of legal and regulatory institutions on corporate decision-making, most notably in mergers and acquisitions.
