The Sharing Economy in Sweden

In this seminar Kes McCormick will analyse the development and progress of Sharing Cities Sweden. This national program aims to put Sweden on the map as a country that actively and critically works with the sharing economy in cities. The objectives of the program are to develop world-leading test-beds for the sharing economy in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Umeå as well as develop a national node to significantly improve national and international cooperation and promote an exchange of experience on sharing cities. The focus areas for the program are sustainability potentials, institutional processes and business models for sharing cities, as well as understanding processes of learning, scaling, translating, and mainstreaming in the context of sharing cities.
