Welcome to the Department of Management and Marketing!
We are a large and diverse department consisting of areas including marketing, operations management, human resource management, international business, entrepreneurship, and organisation studies.
Our Academic Staff come from many different countries and cultural backgrounds, and work together to deliver both research and teaching excellence. While a key aim of our research is to advance theory in Management and Marketing disciplines, we also focus on addressing real world challenges domestically and internationally. Our research is disseminated in the highest quality international journals, through public lectures, conferences, seminars, and in non-academic outlets such as blogs, social media posts, op eds, and magazine articles.
The department offers a large range of programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and (5-year) doctoral program, as well as customised executive education and graduate certificate programs. Our academics are passionate educators who see teaching as one way to disseminate their research findings and disciplinary knowledge to broad audiences. We attract the best local and international students in all our programs and are proud of their learning outcomes. Many of our graduates have gone on to become successfully entrepreneurs, while others have taken on significant leadership roles in consulting, industry, or the public sector. Most of our graduates, if not all, are making a big difference to the lives of people they engage with, and through this, gain a high degree of life satisfaction for themselves.
