Enterprise Specialist Network

As part of the Faculty’s mission to deepen our engagement with industry, we are creating a network of Enterprise Specialists comprising our alumni.

Purpose of the network

Inform, inspire and offer industry perspectives on the Faculty’s Executive Education strategy and program of offerings.

As an Enterprise Specialist, you have the opportunity to shape the future of business and economics executive education and ensure its value to industry.

Ambition

To ensure that the FBE executive education program addresses the greatest emerging problems and needs of industry and working professionals.

What you will do

Either on an individual, discipline group or whole-of-network basis, provide feedback and input from your discipline and industry perspective to FBE about its strategic approach, program portfolio and future executive education direction. You will also be able to network and collaborate with other experts and leaders in industry. Future contributions might include teaching existing executive education courses and/or developing and teaching new material.

What you will have

Deep practitioner experience and professional standing in domains including:

  • Decision-making and data analytics
    Artificial intelligence and machine learning; applied analytics (HRM, marketing and consumer behaviour, financial and insurance decision-making, operations management, accounting, health, and public policy); behavioural insights; benchmarking; big data and predictive analytics; evaluation; policy design and analysis.
  • Leadership and high-performance teams
    Leader cognition and development; coaching; leadership ethics and responsible leadership; emerging leaders; women in leadership, team leadership, high performance teams, conflict and negotiation, judgement and decision making, leadership communication, leadership, and decision-making in VUCA environments.
  • Sustainability and social impact
    Corporate social responsibility and ethical business practices, social and environmental impact reporting, ethical culture, and systems, impact investing.
  • Entrepreneurship
    Intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, business model innovation.
  • Health and wellbeing
    Diversity and inclusion, health systems leadership and operations, health and wellbeing at work, work-life balance/integration, flexible and hybrid work arrangements.
  • Innovation and change
    Future of work;innovation and creativity at work, change leadership, crisis management, complexity management.
  • Operational excellence and supply chain management
    Supply chain design, procurement, lean management, continuous improvement.

Remuneration

This is an honorary position. There may be future opportunities to engage Enterprise Specialists in specific, individual paid contracts in the future involving Melbourne MicroCert co-design, content creation or delivery in a topic connected to their expertise or supporting other executive education activity.
