Starting an online shop: Reaching buyers in Australia and around the world

How to Scale a Start-Up Event Series

With a history of working with start-up clients, BusinessOne is here to answer all your questions about startups in a THREE PART Startup Panel event. Each part will be held on different dates, with different speakers and topics each time. Topic: The last session will be interactive, which involves a startup pitching workshop. You will be presented with a real-world problem, and will be broken up into smaller groups to team up and generate a start-up that will combat the presented problem. After discussing ideas, you will get to pitch their idea to a panel of ‘investors’ who are guests invited from previous sessions. At the end of the session, you will be provided with constructive feedback from your 'investors'. The best pitch will win a PRIZE!

Host: Enactus

  1. Launch Night: 7 September - will feature two international venture capital panellists (US and Hong Kong based) outlining the burgeoning startup marketplace.
  2. National Workshop: 10 September - will feature a case study and a practical step by step walk-through of:
  • How to evaluate business models (e.g. lean business model, design thinking approaches)
  • How to scale enterprises effectively
  • How to practically work within an enterprise that is just starting out
