Candidate Summary
I am confident I have the networks, skills and commitment to create a stronger sense of community between students, staff and alumni both here and abroad.

Firstly, I have a diverse professional network across the private and public sector that will help facilitate connections between current students and alumni in the business community. Since completing my studies in 2010, I spent four years in the advisory practice at EY Melbourne working closely with clients in the transport and healthcare sector. For the past 3 years I have worked at the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) and am now a Senior Risk Adviser, providing advice to senior government leaders on managing risk and arranging insurance. My network also extends internationally via a MBA exchange semester at London Business School, which I have completed through my MBA at Melbourne Business School.

Secondly, I have experience working as a member of various board and advisory committees. I am a current member of the Finance, Risk and Compliance Committee of Palliative Care Victoria and I am a member of IPAA Victoria’s Risk Community of Practice advisory committee.

Thirdly, I have maintained close links with the Faculty since graduation through my participation as a mentor in the Faculty career mentoring program. Since 2013, I have mentored six different students, including helping one student secure a two-week work experience placement at my employer, VMIA.
