Personal Effectiveness Program

Overview

A professional development program for workplace readiness.

The Personal Effectiveness Program is a series of workshops which aim to develop your employability skills – those non-technical skills, knowledge and understandings that you need to participate effectively in the workplace.

Delivered by industry experts and based around the Australian Government’s Core Skills for Work Developmental Framework, these workshops will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge that employers want. This semester, workshops will assist you to:

  • Deliver a presentation with confidence;
  • Work within a team and develop conflict management skills;
  • Identify networking and business opportunities; and
  • Find out what employers want and be job ready.
