Creating Future Leaders Series
The Creating Future Leaders Series aims to put undergraduate and graduate students and young alumni into conversation with business leaders from Australia and overseas and is presented by innovative and inspiring speakers from the corporate and not-for-profit sectors.
In semester two, the Creating Future Leaders Series will be held during our Spotlight on China showcase which aims to provide students and alumni with insights into living and working in China and sharing leadership stories.

TIME: 6:15-8:00pm (includes a 45 minute networking session)
VENUE: Copland Theatre, Basement Level, The Spot, 198 Berkeley Street Carlton
SPEAKERS: John Brumby and Andrea Myles will share their own personal experiences of leadership, the role of the Australia China Business Council and its context within the Australia-China strategy and the China Australia Millennial Project (CAMP) with its mutual benefit for students. After the presentation, there will be time to network with students and young alumni of the Faculty over light refreshments.
John Brumby is currently President of the Australia China Business Council, Chair, Motor Trades Association of Australia Superannuation Fund, an Independent Director, Huawei Technologies (Australia), Professorial Fellow and former Premier of Victoria.
Andrea Myles is CEO and Co-Founder China Australia Millennial Project which unites 130 young innovators aged 18-35 from China and Australia for a 5 day innovation incubator within Vivid Ideas Festival. Previously Andrea was National Director, Engaging China Project and Acting General Manager/National Manager Marketing and Development, Australia China Business Council.
