Wilfred Prest Travelling Fellowship
The Fellowship is open to students or graduates of the University who will undertake postgraduate studies in the field of Economics at an overseas university or research institution.
An extension of the Fellowship may be granted for a further term of one year.
The Fellowship is valued at the Net Annual Income of the Trust.
In 2017, the fellowship was valued at $11,500.
- Applicants must be completing a degree specialising in Economics at the University in 2018 (Bachelor, Honours, Master or PhD) or be an Economics graduate of the University.
- The applicant can be no more than 27 years of age at the time of the award.
- The tenure of the scholarship is for a year and payable in 2 instalments; the first after confirmation of acceptance of the scholarship and the second in May.
- The Fellowship may be held concurrently with another award.
Students should submit an online application including cover letter summarising intended overseas studies, CV, academic reference (outlining the potential to undertake the graduate program the candidate has applied for), student number and academic transcript. Applicants will be notified by email.
