Scott North

Scott is a Melbourne alumnus, he completed a B.Com with us and was one of the first students in the Master of Business & IT. He is a Chartered Accountant, recently gaining Fellow status, FCA).

Scott previously worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as Senior Analyst, Risk Assessment & Audit and then as a Business Analyst, then in internal audit at Southcorp, before moving to National Australia Bank in the risk area and taking up a position as Head of Group Risk Strategy and Systems, then on to the new online division UBank where he was Head of Risk Management. In July 2009 Scott was appointed Head of Risk Direct Banking.

Scott has been a sessional lecturer for the Department of Accounting in Information Processes and Control, taking two streams.

He has also been instrumental in the establishment of the NAB sponsored Business Risk Management class, and gaining NAB as an ARC linkage partner which resulted in a successful grant for $110,000.
